Let's go point by point so it's clearer, okay? I'll start with the staff. They've either transferred everyone or laid them off—well, I'm not entirely sure yet. The only one left from my previous stay is Ms. Samanta, who is amazing, friendly, pleasant, and so kind. Ana is spectacular, just like Samanta. Manuel, whom I met every afternoon, is a super resourceful, polite, friendly, and pleasant guy—just like everyone else. Ramon works nights; I only saw him at the end of the day when he was leaving. He's also very nice. Fran, who's in Alberto's place as manager, is also super nice. The cleaning ladies are super nice; they leave everything spotless and are incredibly friendly, always smiling. In short, the hostel staff gets a 10/10. Room 11 was shared, as you'll see in the photos, and you can give your opinion. I got room 1, right under the air conditioner. I could hear it all night—phew! It was really cool during the heatwave. They need to change the mattress because it was a bit saggy from being there for so long. They give you a towel to shower with at no extra charge. Before, they gave you a key for the locker because there was a lock, but now they give you a padlock, which is safer for me because the locks used to be a bit dodgy. I didn't get a padlock because I bring my own just in case. It's always a good idea to put a little oil on the locker hinges, as they make a bit of noise. It's a duplex; downstairs there used to be a foosball table, but it's gone now. Anyway, it would be for socializing or small groups, haha. There was a sink, mirror, light, a toilet, and a shower. Upstairs there were the beds, lockers, and an almost complete bathroom with just a toilet and shower. Outside, next to the door, was the sink with a light. I've never had any problems with theft in any hostel, but this time my Crocs were taken. They didn't just disappear; I don't know why. Anyway, that was the only issue, but everything else was fine. Also, you have to be careful with... Some customers who cause problems, okay, you know what I mean. The one who called the police for something trivial, and on top of that, was insulting me. Anyway, since I wasn't there when they said it, I told them off for being so loud and closing the ticket window so late, in broken English, haha. The common areas where breakfast is served are €7. By the way, you can use them to eat something, but there's no kitchen, a fridge, some plates, cutlery, and not much else. And no air conditioning, it was quite hot! Looking out the dining room window, downstairs there's a small room with tables, chairs, and elevators. They removed the luggage storage, hence the yellow stripes on the floor, haha. Anyway, I'll be back because of the basic amenities and the staff. Oh, and Room staff, please raise the salaries of your employees a bit; they deserve it for all their patience, haha. Thanks for storing my insulin for me. refrigerator I'll be back!
Great, super comfortable, and the staff are wonderful.
I arrived here after a terrible experience from another hostel. The front desk staff were super nice and helpful. The hostel has a cool design, the location is perfect.
Great value overall!
Not bad. The bed was comfortable. I slept well.
