Sauna Olimpo on Calle de Barbieri provides a second sauna option within Chueca, slightly smaller and more intimate than Sauna Paraíso on Barquillo but well-placed within the gay district. The facilities are solid: steam room, dry sauna, cabins, darkroom. The Barbieri location — on a street that runs parallel to Pelayo and contains several of Chueca's bars — makes it easy to incorporate into an evening in the neighbourhood. For visitors who find Paraíso at capacity (common during WorldPride week and at weekends) or who prefer a smaller, less crowded environment, Sauna Olimpo is the alternative.
