River Hostel - Hostel nad rzeką, idealny dla podróżnych

I cancelled my booking due to the communication with the hostel. After the hostel sent me a message about online check-in, in which the link was displayed as "[Link removed]", I informed them. I was then repeatedly and persistently asked to provide my email address so the link could be resent. I repeatedly expressed my discomfort with this approach and my preference to communicate through the original channel or via Booking.com. When I subsequently requested a cancellation, this was refused, citing a non-refundable rate. At the same time, they emphasized that online check-in was optional and that I could check in on-site. However, the real issue wasn't the check-in itself, but rather the way they handled it and their repeated, insistent requests for personal information despite my reservations. I escalated the matter to Booking.com customer service and documented all the messages. Based on the entire communication process, I no longer felt comfortable keeping the booking. Conclusion: The accommodation itself may be okay, but the communication beforehand was unprofessional and not very customer-oriented.

Great place for a short stay- clean rooms, showers, bathrooms and everything in general. Despite shared bathrooms never had to wait in line to use them or showers. One thing that I really missed- AC. It gets really warm and sleep becomes a little difficult if you are not a heat lover. Also bring an earplugs if you are a sensitive sleeper, or get a private room/smaller shared room. Good breakfast for a great price, free drinking water anytime. Friendly and helpful staff, also free activities (type depends on the week days). Very good location- only few minutes from oldtown and most of "must see".

Came to this hostel yesterday, rooms are good. Friendly staff welcoming you at the desk. Specially Lotta, very friendly, also Dutch & helped me with activities in the city. Send me a list of all the nice things you can do here. And fixed the airco for our room, very needed! Would recommend
