A quality restaurant just outside the city center. Definitely worth a try.
We stumbled across this place by chance, guided by Google reviews, and we'll definitely be back and will remember it fondly. We had tuna tartare, sea bass, and beef cheek. The ingredients were excellent, everything was beautifully prepared with great care. We were absolutely amazed by the contrast of flavors, textures, and combinations.
I think I went to a different place than the one mentioned in the reviews. When we arrived, they hadn't prepared our reservation, so they seated us outside (thankfully, because the interior decor was tacky for the restaurant they're trying to be, and there were baby things everywhere). The service was terrible from the start (they left a used wine glass and silk napkins, which are the least useful thing in the world). The food was pretentious and the portions were small for the price they charge—€30 for a small, dry sirloin steak? The desserts were quite bland. The only thing worth mentioning was the "patatas arrieras" (a traditional Spanish potato dish). The service was slow for the four tables there. Conclusion: If you want to pay expensive restaurant prices for a dive, you're wasting your money.
The restaurant is located in a quiet area of Laspalomas, a great place to relax, away from the hustle and bustle. The owners (he's Spanish, she's Italian) are fantastic, two very welcoming and kind people. The service is fast, but above all, the meat is exceptional, unparalleled in its flavor and tenderness (we chose the beef tenderloin empanada for our appetizer, the "nuestro" beef tenderloin for our main course, and the beef cheek with roasted sweet potato puree). To finish, a succulent dessert (white chocolate soup). We'll always return. P.S. Last but not least, the wine is delicious. I forgot, there's plenty of parking in the area.
