Good Morning Örebro

Fine hotel for a stopover. The rooms are very small (due to lack of space, the side of the bed is against the wall on one side). The bathroom is in need of renovation, and after showering, a large part of the bathroom is wet; the shower curtain does not keep the water out very well. The bed is reasonably hard but sleeps fine for a single night. Breakfast is reasonably extensive and is well replenished. Staff are friendly and attentive. Plenty of parking available right outside the door (also for cars with trailers). The hotel provides a parking ticket, so payment is not necessary! Cons: the ventilation system in the room/bathroom starts extracting heavily early in the morning, causing quite a bit of noise. A cup of coffee or tea costs 37 SEK outside of breakfast. Very pricey for a simple cup of coffee.

Too narrow beds = poor sleep

I booked the hotel through Booking.com. 3 adults. Booking was no problem. Check-in was easy too. But then came the room. The door opened, and there was a small bed, 1.40 meters wide, in a room of 10 square meters including the bathroom. When we asked how we were supposed to sleep with three adult men, we were told to fold down the bed against the wall. The bed was positioned across the headboard of the lower bed. To attach the ladder to the fold-down bed, we had to push the lower bed to the side, all the way to the wall. So it wasn't really possible for all three of us to get into bed comfortably. The staff offered no help. We were simply told to pay for another room if we wanted to sleep properly. We left immediately.

A generous 3 stars, but the room was very small and somewhat dirty, and the ventilation was very noisy. They only provide 2-ply toilet paper.

Very friendly staff. Rooms were perfectly adequate and clean. Breakfast buffet was plentiful.

Montel

I can really recommend this hotel! Clean rooms, great breakfast and friendly staff. The walk into the city center took us about 25 minutes. Highly recommended!

Quite ok for the price. Small rooms though. Minus for loud ventilation that starts around 6:30. Close to Gustavsvikbadet.
