Great location, but it's supposedly being demolished in mid-2025.

I'm far from impressed with this venue. Borderline feels very outdated overall, especially the interior, which is showing its age, and a complete renovation was long overdue. But what really stands out negatively is the unfriendly door staff. I've rarely experienced such disrespectful behavior – and this at a techno rave, of all places, where openness and friendliness should be the norm. The club's technical setup is also lacking. The sound system sounds muddy, which I can confirm from my own experience as a DJ. The lighting system is also outdated and uninspired – and on top of that, they keep using the same light presets without any creative input. The biggest drawback, however, is that there's no separate smoking area. Smoking is allowed throughout the entire club – which is almost unbearable for non-smokers and significantly detracts from the experience. The only bright spot is the friendly bar staff, who consistently do a great job – kudos to them. But yes, on May 31st, Borderline will close its doors forever, and honestly, that's a good thing.

The drum and bass were awesome. Totally amazing! The jukebox almost blew my brain out, but it was great.
