Revado Hotel

Some details to note, the Hotel name is Revado Hotel, but the name of the Business, on a sticker in the inner door of the hotel is : Namaste India. I guess that was the name prior to now and they rebranded. Also to note, they only serve Vegan breakfast , no eggs, only milk and vegan food. There are no phones in the rooms so you communicate by calling either the hotel phone or go physically to the reception. All together not a bad place to stay. Good value for money. The room was very clean and bathroom . It’s a very good location and they have late checkout and late check-in available. I wish they stated in the booking page that they only serve Vegan food on the premises. Suggestion: In reception, please update your payments method, that it is not done through a mobile phone in reception, maybe a Tablet is better, thanks.

Great stay at a great price! We usualy stay at chain hotels but thought we'd give here a try based on others reviews. We weren't disappointed and overall had a great stay. We were even welcomed with breakfast snacks bars, juice cartons and plenty of tea/coffee sachets in the room! Location is a short walk from the train station and a quiet area. There is street parking after 6.30pm so worked well on a Saturday night, although some of us arrived earlier and parked at a paid car park nearer town. Check in was fairly smooth, just not what we are use to. You check in by calling the hotel who instruct you how to get the key card. Some of our guests were arriving later and they had a text with access details, to make for a smooth guaranteed check in. Two of our rooms on the ground and first floor were extremely spacious, with large rooms and large shower. All rooms had a smart TV which even in chain hotels is extremely rare, so for this alone, revado gets top marks when this should be the standard in 2026! One room did have a broken radiator valve and we struggled to turn heating off. Even once off, the room was forever boiling hot, which led to a little uncomfortable sleep. Our third room however was on the top floor and was extremely snug and cramped. We constantly bumped our heads, and bashed our legs on the bed frame trying to navigate around the room. The shower was very small and you felt like you were constantly hunch back the whole time. This was disappointing when the other rooms felt far superior, and felt the upstairs rooms should be sold as a cheaper room stating the downsides of the room. The stairs to the top floor are also very narrow and bendy, so i wouldn't say their suitable for everyone and we certainly had to be extra careful using them with our suitcase. The top room also had several issues, some bathroom floor tiles are broken and felt sharp edges. Toilet seat and towel holder were broken. Bathroom lights flickered and some bulbs appeared broken. There was some black mold on the silicone but overall the room was very clean and presentable! There was a musky smell when we arrived in the room, but after opening the window and having the fan on, this quickly went away. Shower controls seemed to be missing handles, so were extremely hard to use and we struggled to turn the shower off at points as nothing to grip - the temperature safety button is also broken which could be dangerous if not careful as the max temperature could burn you, with you then struggling to turn it off. The small shower head however was surprisingly powerful, although the max height was a bit low for own of us. The rooms all use key cards to get in but there is no inside lock. I think it should be standard in all hotels to have a inside lock / night latch, to give guests some reassurance and safety, knowing the door is locked. We unfortunately didn't get time to try the bar or any other facilities, but other reviews have good things to say for these. Overall, ignoring the issue on the top floor room design and the issues in the room, this is a great hotel and we would consider staying again. We did feel however the room needs some love and care, to bring it back to a good quality, repairing the issues and a refresh of paint. Had there not been these issues, this would certainly be 5 stars and we would certainly stay here on all our trips to Norwich. Thanks revado!

The walls are thin. I was sleeping peacefully, then the guests next door was speaking normal volume and woke me up in the middle of the night. Would recommend bringing noise cancellation earbuds. Radior worked perfectly, everything else was great. Did have an issue with my keycard very late in the night but one of the workers was available and travelled to the hotel, and fixed it which was very appreciated for their quick service :)

Good service and price

I arrived at 9pm to find the bar and restaurant closed and had to collect my keys from an outdoor lockbox using a password. Shockingly, the box contained keys for two different guests, posing a serious security issue. The one staff member present was unwelcoming and not helpful. The room was overly warm with no heating instructions, and there were no details provided about Wi‑Fi or hotel facilities. In the morning, no staff were around, and although breakfast is advertised after 8am, the restaurant was still closed at 8:10, so I had to eat at a café across the road. Overall, a poorly run and unpleasant place to stay with worrying security and guest‑care problems.

Lovely hotel close to the train station. I found the room comfortable and quiet. No noise from neighbours etc. Also the shower was stunning! Excellent service but could do with answering the phone. Would recommend.

My partner and I booked the Revado Hotel for two nights and had an absolutely amazing stay from start to finish. We were warmly welcomed by a very friendly and genuinely kind member of staff who made us feel at home straight away and took the time to share helpful local information. Our room was spotlessly clean, well equipped, and extremely comfortable — the bed in particular was incredibly comfortable and ensured we had a great night’s sleep. Everything we needed for a relaxing and enjoyable stay was provided. Breakfast was vegetarian and absolutely delicious, with a great selection that was both fresh and satisfying. The hotel is excellent value for money and perfectly located, just a stone’s throw from Norwich town centre. We couldn’t fault our experience and will definitely be staying here again. Highly recommended.

Absolutely great place to stay, near city centre, spotless and lovely, friendly staff

Management and some other staff are rude , don’t have any manners and respect to any people coming through the hotel doors. Avoid this place there is much better hotels in Norwich .

Not bad. No parking tho. Parked on the street. Woke up the next morning and thanking God I didn’t get a parking ticket.
