John John is saved by the atmosphere, the people who frequent it, and the big screen that always plays good music. The service, every time I've been there, has been terrible; we practically have to beg to be served. There are many waiters, but they always ignore us and don't attend to us. The bathrooms are always in need of cleaning. Every single day I've been there, the situation has been precarious. But despite all that, I still like the place.

Best bar in Savassi, especially noteworthy for its sensational big screen which makes a huge difference for us customers!

I would like to register my dissatisfaction with an incident that occurred on May 8th, 2026, at approximately 11 PM. While I was having a drink at one of the tables, my straw fell to the floor. To avoid burdening the waiter with a simple request, I went to the counter to get a new one. To my surprise, the server refused the request suspiciously, questioning whether I was, in fact, a regular customer. The situation escalated into an unnecessary and embarrassing scene, only ending when I asked her to come to my table to check my order. It is regrettable that such a trivial request resulted in such hostile and intrusive treatment.

Worst place to go in Belo Horizonte. Only those who haven't been there like it. The owner is incredibly rude. He treats customers, employees, and collaborators badly. Bankruptcy is coming soon!

The place only has outdoor seating. It has a really good big screen outside. The food and drinks are good. I recommend it.

In general, John John is a bar geared towards pre-drinks. The service is very disorganized, and when it's crowded, some of the staff can be rude. Another important detail is the waiters' attentiveness; even after consuming everything I wanted, I had to buy something else I didn't even want right in front of them just to be allowed to use the restroom, which I found a bit absurd. Otherwise, go, but I recommend going only if you're passing through, for example, to wait for a friend or for a light pre-party drink, because more than 20 minutes at John John will certainly leave you frustrated.
