Life Residence

I stayed at Life Residence for almost two months. My room was the simplest one, and the cleanliness wasn't great, but the cleaning staff were hardworking; it might be a training issue. Breakfast is usually noisy, and whoever is supposed to keep the buffet stocked spends their time on their cell phones. Aside from that, there's a basic variety of options. On the top floor, there's a gourmet kitchen and a tiny pool, but I never managed to sit there for more than 10 minutes because there were always children or teenagers bothering me. The receptionists – apart from one who smiles spontaneously – aren't very friendly. The location is so-so, because the shopping mall next door has plenty of options to pass the time.

I made a reservation at the hotel and arrived on June 5th, around 9:30 PM. Upon arrival, the receptionist said my reservation was for the following week. I corrected the situation and made a new reservation through Hotels.com. After a few minutes, she authorized me to go to the room. However, 5 to 10 minutes after I was in the room, she called saying she couldn't find the reservation. I checked and the reservation was indeed on the platform. I asked her to contact Hotels.com, but she insisted I leave the room. When I tried to reason with her, she threatened me, saying she would send someone to remove me. When I started gathering my things to leave, she called me again and said the reservation had been there the whole time. There was no apology, nor acknowledgment of the error. I was treated with disregard. Disappointed with the service, I have already canceled my reservation for next week. I hope the hotel reviews how it treats guests and avoids this type of situation with other customers.

Great location next to Shopping Cidade. The hotel reception has a pleasant smell and nice decor. Room (1201) excellent space. Everything planned. New. Bathroom was great. Breakfast very good. On the seventeenth floor there is a pool area with a complete gourmet area. Not to mention a wonderful view. In short: you can book without fear. A big hug to all the staff!!!

Excellent stay! Cozy, comfortable room! When I return to Belo Horizonte, it will be my first choice!

We really enjoyed staying at this hotel. My boyfriend Daniel Leão and I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. Whenever we stay there, the receptionist Gabriela is always very kind and attentive to us.
