Temuco Pride March (Marcha del Orgullo Temuco)

Temuco has held a Pride march, the Marcha del Orgullo, since 2006, and in recent years it has fallen in the last week of June. In 2025 it ran on Saturday 28 June at 14:00 from Plaza Emilia Bau, at Prieto Norte and Pedro de Valdivia, after a talk and a Pride flag-raising outside the Gobierno Regional building on the Friday. In 2026 it was on Friday 26 June at 16:00.

Local LGBTIQ+ groups organise the march with support from the regional government, the Municipalidad de Temuco and its Oficina de Diversidad. It's a political march with banners and speeches rather than a parade with floats; in 2018 more than 1,000 people took part, according to SoyChile.

The 2027 date had not been announced at the time of writing. Going by recent years, expect the last Friday or Saturday of June, and check local news in early June.
