Andel is a small, inexpensive gay bar in Lince, a residential district north of Miraflores and San Isidro. Karaoke is the whole point: it runs all night, the hosts keep the queue moving, and the crowd is mostly local regulars rather than tourists. The worst experience I've ever had in a bar. The owner is aggressive and overbearing. I witnessed threats and attempted physical assaults against a customer for no apparent reason. Besides creating an uncomfortable atmosphere by saying that karaoke is "punishable," he threatens those who don't accept his rules with violent phrases like, "I'm going to smash your face in." I absolutely do not recommend it. It's a place where you don't feel safe. Beware of this guy and this bar.
