The staff here is amazing. I arrived and instantly felt at home. They brought me a heater and hot water bottle to warm up.. I’d been out exploring all day and was very chilled and tired, but very quickly felt so much better with their kindness and care. Slept like a baby and woke up to a spectacular view of the mountain & river. Very nice breakfast too. And they organized a great driver for me to see sites and make my way to Pisac. 🌟🌎💫

I love this place. I slept so well. The staff is so sweet. It really feels homey here. I felt cold so they brought me a heater and a hot water bottle and even did my laundry in time for my Machu Picchu trip. They made great breakfast for me each morning as well. The river and mountains are spectacular!

I stayed at this hostel and had an excellent experience. The room was very nice and cozy, and it also has an amazing view of the surrounding landscape. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Beautiful place but a bit poor service. We stayed 2 times there and the last stay we got shocked at 3am as somebody opened the window and put his head inside of the room. Seems like the door downstears is always open and as the reception is empty (at least each time we entered) seems like its not super secure, otherwise very nice place, nice rooms

We stayed there in May 2025. She cancelled our reservation because she gave our room to a group. Because I was annoyed, she found usanother room at another lodging up the street for one night and we returned the following night. Wish we had just stayed at the alternate lodging because the breakfast was far superior to what Sara Garden served. Read through the reviews, both good and bad, and find out how often she double books. It's a regular occurrence. Do yourself a favour and don't book here.

In my opinion, the place is almost healing; the loud sound of the water running next to the hotel. The view, the kindness of the service. A gift for anyone, they made a very special lunch box for us with boiled eggs, granola and fruit because we don't eat bread. It's about a 20-minute walk to the train station.

Amazing experience, fantastic place with mountain views, a peaceful place to clear your mind, I recommend it 100%.
