AHF Perú Piura (free HIV testing)

AHF Perú, the Peruvian branch of the AIDS Healthcare Foundation, runs a free HIV testing centre at Jr. Merino 153 in central Piura, a couple of blocks from Av. Sánchez Cerro. It offers rapid HIV tests with results in under half an hour, counselling, linkage to treatment, and free condoms and lubricant. Gay and bisexual men and trans women are among the groups it serves; the regional health directorate puts HIV prevalence at about 10% among men who have sex with men in Piura. Google lists it as open Monday to Thursday 10:00-19:00, Friday until 20:00 and Saturday 09:00-13:00, with a 4.7 rating from 28 reviews. No appointment is needed for a rapid test.
