We stayed there for three nights in July as part of our tour around the lakes. Of all the accommodations we stayed at, this was by far the nicest. If you're looking for the solid charm of yesteryear in a beautiful setting, this is the place for you. It's an ideal base for visiting Niagara Falls (which only really make sense from Canada anyway) and for excursions into the surrounding area to explore the wineries. We felt very welcome and well accommodated.

We stayed for just one night in November and received an exceptionally warm welcome. The lovely lady showed us around the entire house and provided us with lots of information. We were even allowed to check into our room a little early. The location is superb; we had a beautiful view of Lake Ontario and were just a two-minute walk from the town center. Breakfast was prepared to order, with several options. It was fresh, high-quality, and delicious. The room was very clean and comfortably furnished. The only drawback was the slightly wobbly floor. The furniture wobbled when we walked, but it is, after all, a very old house. In the evenings, we spent time in the communal lounge, which was filled with numerous antique objects with historical significance. There was plenty to read and look at, like a small museum. We were delighted and would love to return.

A unique experience in a beautiful guesthouse overlooking Lake Ontario!

The Old Bank House is a unique boutique hotel located near the Niagara River and walking distance to the old town. The hosts are attentive and friendly and the breakfast is hearty and delicious. As a retired couple with mobility issues, we were challenged by the stairs as there is no lift. Nevertheless, we had a wonderful getaway.

If you are looking for old world charm in a beautiful setting that is walking distance to a beautiful street with restaurants, shops, and beautifully decorated streets you should try staying here. We traveled with another couple and we all felt the same. The breakfast with 5 choices was freshly cooked and very good. The staff were all so welcoming and attentive. We were so glad we opted to stay here and not in the Falls area hotels. It is only a 25 minute drive to falls but the ride is enjoyable as it is all beautiful homes and vineyards. Very scenic. Research Niagara on the lake for details about the immediate area. Highly recommend!

Went for a short one night stay. Would’ve loved longer and will definitely return. Jean was awesome at checkin and checkout. Great rooms and breakfast. Great location and overall top notch B+B.

My partner and I stayed at this B&B on Friday night. We had a wedding to attend close by. Such a cute B&B. Our room was clean and perfect. Had a wonderful shower after our 9 hour drive. Sat out on the patio and enjoyed the view of the lake. It is close by to the heart of town and was only a 5 minute walk from the wedding venue on Queen Street. Excellent hospitality from all the staff, including allowing us an early check in and even offering to text us the door codes in case someone was not immediately available. The breakfast was wonderful. There were 5 or 6 options to choose from. I wish I had tried the omelette so I guess I will be back! We loved NOTL and will be making another trip down in the near future. I highly recommend this B&B. Other reviews state that the house can be loud due to it being older, but we found it perfect and I slept very well. 5 stars
