Cranberry Flats Conservation Area

Cranberry Flats is a public conservation area on the South Saskatchewan River about 10 km south of Saskatoon, with sandbars, dunes and wooded trails. Cruising guides report it as a daytime gay cruising spot, with some nude sunbathing on the river flats in summer. We have not verified this, and activity is likely to be seasonal and depend on the weather. This is a public park used by families, dog walkers and hikers. Same-sex relationships are legal in Canada, but sex in a public place can lead to an indecency charge. Be discreet, keep away from the main trails, and go with your own transport, because there is no transit out there.
