Geneve Hotel

We stayed for a week. It is a nice decent historical hotel . A bit dated

Gorgeous historical hotel. Makes you feel like you are living in a Hollywood movie but without the costs. Restaurants on site make it easy if you don’t want to leave the hotel for the evening. Close enough to Chapultepec to walk without being in the congestion surrounding it.

The hotel is in an excellent location, close to everything and within walking distance of all the Reforma area and attractions. It's important to understand that the hotel is of historical significance. It's practically a museum in itself, so keep that in mind when choosing a room. They have everything you need, are clean and comfortable, but they date back to 1907, are grand in style, and feature period furniture. That said, there's no carpeting, allergens, or dust; it's just a matter of knowing where you're going.

It's a beautiful place, full of nostalgia, beauty, and sophistication, yet very welcoming. I loved everything: the staff's service was always friendly, from the young man who greeted us at the door to the waiters at the Diaz restaurant and the cleaning lady. We were only going for one night to process our visas, but we decided to stay another. In the bar, we enjoyed live music with David, who delighted us with classic rock songs for true connoisseurs and lovers of good music. It's a hotel over 100 years old, so it's like sleeping in a museum. When we returned from our trip, I told my family about our experience, and my father said he'll definitely stay there the next time he visits beautiful Mexico City.

Everything's OK

I went for breakfast with a group of friends and then we toured the hotel. Everything was spectacular; it's well worth a visit.

We went to Buenos Diaz for breakfast and everything was perfect, the service and the food. Plus, there's a mini-museum in the lobby that you shouldn't miss.

It's one of the city's iconic hotels. A museum-hotel with a fascinating history thanks to its famous and legendary guests, its essence is captured in the period rooms, decorated with details from its illustrious residents. Adding to all this is its strategic location in one of the city's most vibrant areas. Without a doubt, you should stay here and enjoy this unique space in Mexico City.
