Hyatt Place Pasadena

Lovely hotel! The lobby area is beautiful and well appointed, the rooms are clean and modern. The location could not be better. It is centrally located in old town Pasadena in walking distance from numerous shopping, food, and sightseeing destinations. You must check out city hall if you are coming from out of town - it is gorgeous and picturesque, and in walking distance! I felt very safe both at the hotel and in the surrounding areas. Also, not far from LA if you plan on going into the city. They also had Complimentary coffee and a delicious breakfast that includes bacon, eggs, potatoes, hash browns, yogurt, fruit etc. staff was kind and welcoming. One of the men working the front desk could use more training, as he made check in very difficult. But Allyson, one of the managers was luckily available, and was very professional and helpful. The meeting room spaces and event staff are also great. I taught a seminar and was very impressed with both the meeting space and event staff. I would absolutely stay at this hotel again and will recommend it to my company for continued use for seminars!

Beautiful lobby and spacious rooms set this Hyatt Place above any other I have stated at. The pool was the perfect temp with views of wild parrots that frequent the area. The breakfast was more than I expected, with a variety of mouthwatering favorites.

I had a fantastic experience at this hotel. The service was exceptional — every staff member I interacted with was kind, professional, and genuinely helpful. The room was modern, well-maintained, and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I especially appreciated the attention to detail, such as complimentary bottled water, a clean workspace, and excellent Wi-Fi. The hotel facilities were also impressive, including a well-equipped gym and a relaxing lounge area. The breakfast selection was diverse, fresh, and well prepared. The overall atmosphere of the hotel was peaceful and inviting, making it the perfect place to unwind. I highly recommend this hotel for business travelers, couples, and families alike.

I love Hyatt and Hyatt Place hotels and this was no exception. In fact, I’d say the Pasadena Hyatt Place may have been the nicest Hyatt Place I’ve ever stayed at: from extra clean rooms (not a single hair or piece of dust and the room smelled clean and not musty) to the AC working well in the room, as well as the simple yet effective (and also very clean) gym - with towels and filtered water which was really nice. Cute relatively little pool (although we didn’t use it) and a fire pit and life size chess set which was fun. Lobby is really well decorated reminding of a higher class property than it is which is a great touch. Onsite indoor parking was easy too with elevator directly up to lobby or rooms. Lastly, we only had breakfast one morning, but we got there at opening and the offerings were as good as any buffet at this level property: yogurt with various granola/dry offerings, fresh fruit to put in, toast/bagels, pancakes and scrambled eggs. And again, all clean and well laid out. I was sure it was a brand new Hyatt property, but the nice front desk worker informed me the Hyatt Place has been there for 6 years. Props to you Hyatt - if all your properties mirror this one, you’ll be in excellent shape!

A solid option to stay while in the Pasadena area. Facilities are acceptable. Could use a little TLC in the rooms. The walls are very thin. You can literally hear the next room opening and closing their blinds. The breakfast is solid option with the exception that guest bring their families in from the local area to eat a breakfast, leaving the guests with minimal options. Saw it several days while staying
