Pasadena Inn at Old Town, Los Angeles

Overall the newly remodeled room was nice and my husband enjoyed the softness of the bed.

rooms are nice and neat and a chill place to stay.

Everything was ok and fine. The train station is nearby.

Convenient and most reasonable.

Not outright bad but not outright nice. Generally fine but there were some quirks that were off putting. Room has odd smell to it - kind of like a recently-cleaned bathroom. Shower did not drain well. Window shade is damaged and also insufficient for privacy (given the motel style layout someone can walk right by your room so it creeps me out that there would be some ability to look inside). Lights flickered. Pillows had some marks on it. Pool was not open, half the place was under construction, and there is no breakfast. And the elevator permit was expired. Overall, you what you get for price point. Would not stay again though.

Perfect! Everything is walking distance from the hotel.

Very disappointing stay. There was no shampoo or drinking water in the room. We were told shampoo would be delivered within 5 minutes, but it never arrived even after repeated requests. I had to go to the front desk myself and still waited a long time. The manager’s attitude was also unprofessional. My daughter had to wait a long time in the bathroom, and it affected her rest before an important competition. Overall, the service was very poor for a hotel close to 200 USD per night.

Nice and clean, like the upgrades, and close to restaurants and shopping.

Courteous and helpful staff contributed to making this an excellent stay. Rooms were basic but perfectly adequate for our needs. We would definitely stay again.
