Gogol Bordello is an internationally renowned “gypsy punk” band from the Lower East Side of Manhattan, formed in 1999. The band is led and was founded by charismatic Ukrainian-American frontman Eugene Hutz.
Known for their high-energy, theatrical live shows and a unique sound that fuses Eastern European Roma (Gypsy) folk music with punk rock, dub, and electronic post-punk, the band features an ever-shifting, multinational lineup.
