Buffalo Pride

Buffalo Pride is the city's June Pride, organised by the Evergreen Health Foundation, part of the local LGBTQ+ health provider Evergreen Health, and presented with M&T Bank. The centrepiece is a Sunday parade along Elmwood Avenue, one of Buffalo's most walkable strips, with a month of smaller events around it.

In 2026 the parade stepped off at 11 a.m. at Elmwood and Forest Avenues and headed south to around Allen Street, finishing near 3 p.m. A judges' grandstand outside Jack Rabbit gave awards to parade groups, an ASL interpreter was on site, an accessible viewing area was set up at the Burchfield Penny Art Center, and local TV channel WKBW streamed it live. Earlier that week came a flag raising, a fun run in Delaware Park and an arts festival called Intersect.

The 2026 parade took place on Sunday 7 June under the theme "Rooted in Pride". We couldn't confirm whether a separate festival day was held in 2026. The 2027 dates hadn't been announced when we checked.
