Sage and Sand Motel

Our stay has been pleasant considering the outdated commodities and we owe it all to Monica, our housekeeper, went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable. She was friendly, hardworking, and clearly takes pride in her job. You can tell she genuinely cares about the guests and does everything she can to make up for what the building itself might lack. Clean towels, tidy rooms, and a warm attitude — that’s what makes a place feel welcoming, and Monica delivers exactly that!

If you book through a third party, come with $100 cash or don’t come. There is a $100 cash deposit fee. The room is standard but not a bad rest for a night. I felt safe though the hotel looks a bit worn. The staff was patient when I locked myself out and needed a new key made twice, and when I was hangry and tired and balked at a cash deposit I didn’t know about in advance.

We enjoyed our stay here, very kind owners and staff. Rooms are clean A/C gets the room nice and cold working fridge & Fast WiFi! The on site laundry is plus to! Rooms get clean out every morning staff is always there with any help you need they are so kind! You have a lake one block down and your down town to any small shops and restaurants it’s a plus when they do vender events to take your family down for walk with beautiful views your able to see the mountains from the motel. We will be coming back we enjoyed our stay very kind humble people.

I guess “Newly Renovated” means a new mattress, and a new AC Unit. The carpet was very old and had multiple cigarette burn marks. We reserved a king bed room that was non smoking. As soon as we walked in it was reeking of cigarette smell. When we went to the office to see what the attendant could do about it, he tried to argue with us. He said he would come spray air freshener in the room and when he got to our room he sprayed 4 small sprays in front of the AC unit. The shower had to temperature indicator on it and you had to fine tune the knob to get a decent temperature and even then it would every 5 mins just give boiling hot water for like 5 seconds then go away. This hotel needs ALOT of work. I do not think it should be advertised as newly renovated until it’s all actually done.

Budget friendly, clean room, & friendly staff.

The bed was comfortable, but the shower and small appliances weren't very clean. The parking lot needs work.

Terrible service, they ask for the room back long before checkout and there is a lot of noise in the surrounding area

Stayed at the Sage & Sand Motel for 4 nights on a fishing trip! The manager, Judi, was so nice. The room was freshly painted and clean. The beds were clean and the showers were hot! We were provided with clean towels and a quiet nights rest for a very affordable price. Also, the location is quite convenient as well. Walking distance from the beautiful downtown of Casper and all of its great restaurants, bars, and shops! Will be retiring to the Sage & Sand on my next fishing trip!
