Great store, good selection of products, bit pricey but worth it for the quality. I was helped by Lawrence and he was excellent. He knew the brand, understood how sizing has changed with different collections, and was able to find me exactly what I was looking for without trying to upsell me. I tend to shop online but will definitely be coming back to the store instead because of him. Keep up the great work!

Terrible customer service experience. Salesperson was prejudice and made me feel uncomfortable, and judged. No accountability, and lack of empathy when confronted. I have shopped here several times and this was the worst interaction. Not very inclusive and not welcoming, especially for a business for the LGBT community. I have nothing against company policy. The problem is how the message or policy was endorsed and the intent conveyed. He offered an apology, but there was no sincerity in the words.

Great staff, very friendly and welcoming. They help you decide the best outfit options with honesty and a good eye.

I routinely visit Egoist for tops and bottoms (pardon the double entendre). Though small, I very much like Egoist's selection. And I enjoy speaking with the proprietor.

AVOID at all costs. Bought a swimsuit from here. Didn’t notice it had a cut in it until I got home. The cut is so neat and perfect that it seems to be have been made from a box cutter when opening the box at the store probably. If it’s a rip/tear I’ve never seen clothes with such a neat exact perfect line rip. Went back to return them and the owner refused to exchange or refund and said that I made the cut in the swimsuit myself……I didn’t even want a refund at first, just wanted to exchange for the SAME pair and SAME size, what would I gain from cutting this pair to exchange for an exact same pair?!? Makes no sense. That’s $70 down the drain. Should have known better when the owner provided no customer service, was on his laptop at the register the entire time, no hello or anything. Looked annoyed when you asked him a question. Will not be visiting again and advise you don’t either. Too expensive of a store to get poor service , all around terrible experience for over priced swimsuits. You can read his replies to other people’s comments and see how nasty and rude he is. He’s like that in store too. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!! Update: response to owner There is absolutely no way that CCTV could have shown this in perfect condition, because it wasn’t in perfect condition. I highly doubt the cameras are even able to get that up close to see whether or not there was a tear. I did not notice the rip in the store, for whatever reason, I was there with friends, we were talking through the curtain and laughing and having a good time, I had a shirt on the whole time that could have covered it when I was looking in the mirror, it could be a number of things. You just don’t expect clothes to be ripped like that brand new so wasn’t really checking for that. Look at the other reviews of folks reporting similar issues with damaged clothes. Look at reviews on Yelp of people complaining about him just being on his laptop at the register and ignoring customers. If you notice a common trend throughout the owners replies it’s this: he never takes any responsibility for anything that people cite in their reviews. He never does anything wrong, it’s always the customers fault. Think about that, how could that possibly be true? It doesn’t make sense.
