This is a wonderful business with great employee communication and accommodations.
This place was absolutely beautiful, tucked into a very safe area of town. It was an incredibly relaxing weekend with the fiance. We loved the keypad locking systems and the bed is amazing, also had fun in their game room (I won in ping pong and Darts!) Absolutely will be staying here every time we are in town! Also Craig was kind enough to ship my fiances glasses we forgot 😅 Thank you again everyone!
Cool old Cleveland manor house on a street of cool old Cleveland manor houses! Private parking area was nice - rooms nice and clean and comfortable. Area was super quiet and felt safe. We walked to get delish food at Amba and then from there to Jacobs Pavilion for a concert then back to Stone Gables so very walkable to excellent stuff. Would have walked to Ohio City west side Market if we had stayed one more day!
The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen downstairs was awesome. However, a good night sleep is what one needs, and that is not what we had. There was no AC in our room, that was an infuriating false advertisement. AC for the building does not mean “AC” and we both kept waking up hot despite the ceiling fan. God forbid you have to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night - be prepared to be blinded by an automatic sensor light. Throw a towel over it so it can’t trigger I suppose. Lastly, “old building with creaks and thin walls”?! I grew up in New England. So I imagine either the 19th century homes were built different where we come from, or we were in a room beneath legitimate elephants that stayed up until midnight and woke again at 6. We do thank the host for being so prompt to greet us, but driving cross we needed to sleep and that was a rough one.
Better than a big chain hotel. Easy self checkin, clean rooms, location is only 5 min from downtown.
We stayed in the Morgan room for a concert at Jacobs Pavilion and had a wonderful experience. We were able to walk to plenty to keep us entertained and we were even able to walk to the venue in 20 minutes. The room was clean, cozy and secure. We will definitely be back and I would recommend to anyone staying in Cleveland.
