DJs from around the world have gathered for our BLENDR showcase at @the_pinhook !
Over four grueling months, these brave performers battle to perform a paid set on stage at The Pinhook, voted on by the crowds at Blends With Friends open decks. The winners represent the cutting edge of electronic music in Durham… and beyond.

ROUND 1 WINNER: GROOVY TEE (@groov_ytee)
Groovy Tee is a DJ whose approach is intentional, celebrating both familiarity and discovery. Rooted in Kenya’s expansive music culture, his sets reflect the shared rhythm of the African and Caribbean diaspora where rhythm and cultural connection take center stage.
ROUND 2 WINNER: DJ HIMBO (@dj_himbo)
DJ Himbo (he/him) is a multidisciplinary musician, writer, and community builder utilizing DJing as a form of artistic expression and collective movement. Inspired by his reverence for ballroom and roots in the American South, his sound is diasporic blend of c*nty and country club beats to bump to, pump to, and shake yo rump to!
ROUND 3 WINNER: BOOSHIE MYSTIK (@bo0shie)
Booshie Mystik enjoys casting spells that move you. Originating from Raleigh’s artistic underground, they draw from the rhythms of life and the universal chaos to warp time.

Our final round of voting takes place NEXT WEDNESDAY 9/9 at our open decks at @the_pinhook starting at 8pm! If you’re a DJ, come out and play a set and you could be the 4th DJ on the lineup!
