Super 8 by Wyndham Eau Claire WI

Would %100 come back. Nice staff, clean sheets, clean room, clean bathroom. Room service cleaned the room each day while I was out making the bed and refilling anything used. Water pressure is amazing, truly can't beat the price for all that you get. Thank you to everyone working here making it great.

just needed to get off the road during 16 hr drive from north eastern Pennsylvania. my eyes were strained and the glare of lights made night driving pretty much impossible. they let me check in at 5am. there's a good deal of hotels that won't let you check in outside of their established check in/ check out schedule. I've had pretty good luck thank god. very quick, painless check in . rooms surprised me. a lot nicer than the outside would suggest good experience. very much appreciated. 2 hrs later after a bit of a rest, and the key- a shower. what wonders a shower can do for a guy . 4.5 hrs later I arrived home . I will do that plan again. wing it, but now have a standard in place

This was honestly the dirtiest hotel I ever stayed in. My parents paid for it, so I didn’t complain, but had I been here without them, I never would have stayed. Even if I couldn’t get my money back, I would have gone somewhere else or slept in my car. The floor had obviously not been vacuumed in a very long time. There were coins, hair elastics, crumbs, ants and other various debris. The bathtub was so dirty that when I showered with my slides on, my shoes wore spots clean in the grime on the bottom of the tub just from standing there showering. The bed spreads and furniture were literally covered in stains. My room honestly looked like they just came in and made the bed after the last guest left. And I do mean, made the bed, not changed the sheets bc the blankets needed to be washed weeks ago. The place is run down due it’s being old, but you could at least clean the place. I ended up going to buy a blanket to put down on the bed and covered up with my cat blanket so that I didn’t have to touch anything. The only thing that looked clean in the whole place was the towels but even those were heavily stained. Management needs to step it up with cleanliness.

There is no pool, contrary to hotel information on Google. Waste of a trip

Good price and very quiet. What I liked most was seeing very friendly Hispanics working there. I recommend they also replace the manager at the front desk, but he seemed very arrogant and uninterested in his work. He served me reluctantly and wasn't friendly, and it looked like he hated his job or was extremely tired of doing nothing; he seemed to be asleep. They should put a Hispanic person at the front desk because they are always very friendly and love their work. I feel like they are always active, no matter the time, and they take care of the business as if it were their own. They are very responsible and even do other people's work to make sure everything is perfect, even if they don't know their area of ​​responsibility.

The staff was professional and considerate. The cleanliness and comfort of the room exceeded my expectations. If the price is a bit higher than nearby motels there’s a reason. I would highly recommend the 8 over the 6. Plus you get a very decent continental breakfast. Pancake maker, cereal, bagels, donuts, toast, eggs, and more. Variety of juices coffees and milk. 4 nice pillows per bed! Mattresses were big and comfy! The Randy’s restaurant across the street was decent home cooked meals for reasonable prices too.

It was worth every penny, and there was even a free breakfast!

Room was super clean besides settled dust around rooms edge. Super white absorbent towels. Clean bedding. Hotel hallways and rooms smell amazing. Staff is super friendly and all smiles. The only negative I had during my two night stay was that my shower didn’t get hot unless you only ran bath faucet (which is a pain if your trying to shower). I ended up just showering with cold water as everything else had been perfect about my stay. Breakfast was yummy and loved the tiny pancake maker. Will stay here anytime I am in Eauclaire for work.

Very friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms, nice Continental breakfast, great location, close to restaurants, grocery stores and shopping. I would definitely recommend staying here and we will keep coming back

Booked room 110 and it was FILTHYYYY. dust on exposed floor trims, dusty and dirty carpets, and I've gotten some sort of bug bites after waking up in the morning. Your chances of having a better sleep outside is over 100 times better. This place is a biohazard from the strangely strong lemon smell in the hallways to the funky chemically bleachy smell in the rooms. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HEREEEE, everything is old, outdated, unclean, unkempt and nasty. The only redeeming part of the room was the sink. You are much better off booking any other hotel. Super 8? Nah, super dirty.

A really nice Super 8 to stay in. My first visit here on a road trip, excellent motel. Nice friendly guy on the front desk, I was given room 219, a very nice large room with a massive bed. NFC locks on the doors, very usefull when you have luggage with you. Very clean room, TV with a good selection of channels, wifi was stable and worked very well. VERY comfortable bed with a great mattress topper, a really good nights sleep. Excellent high pressure shower in the bathroom. Load of eating places on the road, I went to the Altoona Family Restaurant for breakfast as I like to support local businesses. Very happy to recommend, and will stay here again when in Eau Claire.
