Can you please teach whoever mans the phones some customer service, I had questions and they hung up the phone on me

Seriously? The pool isn’t a dance club. It’s a place where guys would like to socialize. The music on 08/01 was a nice mixture, but way too loud. Guys had to either yell at each other or choose to not talk. Not a good environment.

I had a wonderful stay at this campground! The cabins were clean and comfortable making it a great place to relax. The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help with anything we needed. I also visited the spa, and Curtis was especially welcoming and friendly, making the experience even more enjoyable. Spending my vacation here was exactly what I needed.

I have been coming to sawmill for over 18 years but over time it really has declined. Unfortunately the chicken farm by sawmill has increased multiple times in size over that time period While it is not sawmills fault when the wind is in the wrong direction.. After sawmill was bought out by the residents eight or nine years ago they have become less resort friendly and much more resident friendly. I miss the old days. I was there just before July 4. The bathrooms by the pool were not cleaned and the toilets were disgusting. Since they are no longer cleaning rooms each day there are fewer people to clean the bathrooms. Plus people do nutso things like putting plastic straws into the toilet What really upsets me is that I am only at sawmill two or three times a year and they automatically rebill the annual membership fee. Basically it is a sneaky way to increase the room rate and get lots of sticky bottom line income for Sawmill What is especially noteworthy and egregious is the 7.50 processing fee they added on to the $50 membership. So I got billed not only for the annual registration $50 fee but also for a $7.50 processing fee as well for something I didn't want. It just adds insult to the injury. They didn't use to do this and I HATE this policy It's buried in the fine print that no one reads and you don't even get an option to opt out or if you do I never saw it. While the front desk person said I signed up for this I feel this is an extremely lame response. Prior to pandemic you had a physical membership card that expired in a year and then you just renewed when you needed to. Sawmill changed the rules to a much less transparent process that allowed them to rebill automatically. And generate thousands of dollars in uneeded Registration fees for the guest. When I first signed up at the front desk they definitely did not say just to let you know this will rebill annually. I called the front desk to complain about this and she basically said I signed up for this and to feel free to file a complaint. Her exact words were "you know just go ahead and file a complaint " So I did a review as the first step. I am pondering filing a complaint with the BBB The front desk person I talked to is usually delightful to work with. I suspect she gets lots of angry calls about the automatic rebill. I do understand her frustration at having defend an indefensible business practice. The problem is that you are forced to join sawmill for a year and often do it in person or on phone where you don't see the membership sign up form and aren't given the ability to opt out of automatic billing. A lot of people only come once to the sawmill and it is terrible that they are automatically rebilled for a annual membership. Another common complaint from guests is that you can't have friends come over for free either. They have to become members and be billed annually ... But this has been the policy the entire 18 years I have been a member. Sawmill really tries to squeeze every dime they can from guests. I am sure that sawmill makes thousands of dollars a year from this horrendous business practice and maybe enough to pay for the extended hours of front desk support. They did make three good changes. The Internet service at the pool bar is much more robust which is fantastic. They also have sun protections on two corners of the pool. The pool has always been the best feature. Also the garage play area was open all the time.

Amazing campground. Lots of activities and very well kept
