Glendale Hotel

Couldn’t open doors without trying 8 times even tho they changed door cards,room have weird smell,my car was keyed in the lot ,nobody took responsibility for it as well,horrible experience…

Absolutely horrible. The room was totally outdated by at least 25 years. This room had water stains on the ceiling, paint peeling on the walls, bugs in the bathroom and tub, and a general lack of keeping up with the condition of the room. It also did not feature a microwave and only had a small mini fridge. The bathroom grout had mold and dead bugs while the floor was cracked and dirty. The photos featured on the website was completely different from the actual room. the beds also had bugs in them that were just crawling around. It was absolutely disgusting and unacceptable. This place should be closed down for multiple health violations. This is a total scam and definitely not worth your money. If anyone else is thinking of getting a room at this place, consider this as a warning. This is definitely the worst hotel I’ve ever been to personally and I will make sure I will never visit again.

I stayed at the Glendale Express Hotel while working on a project nearby at Disney Studios. The location is definitely one of the hotel's strongest points—it's only a few minutes from the studios and very close to Griffith Park, which was a great place to unwind after work. My experience started off rough. The first room I was assigned on the first floor was clearly not what I expected. It had concrete floors, no closet or place to hang clothes, and the next morning I discovered there was no hot water. I let the shower run for nearly 10 minutes and it never even got warm. When I reported the issues to the front desk, they were surprised enough that they came to inspect the room themselves and realized it didn't even have a closet. To their credit, they quickly moved me to another room on the fifth floor. The second room was much better, with carpet, a proper kitchenette that matched the online photos, and a much more comfortable setup overall. It appears that parts of the hotel are currently under renovation, and there seems to be a noticeable difference between some rooms. I've now been in the upgraded room for three nights and haven't seen any housekeeping service, but otherwise the stay has been comfortable. Overall, Glendale Express Hotel is a convenient option with a good location, but management should make sure all rooms meet a consistent standard and that guests know what type of room they're actually booking.

Very basic motel. It's pretty much a place to sleep while you're in town. It is within walking distance of the Glendale Galleria...right across the street

I had low expectations but was pleasantly surprised. Easy to get to, the hotel and its surroundings are very quiet. It's very close (4 minutes) to Ralphs. They offer free water and coffee in the lobby. Parking costs $15 per night. The standard rooms are spacious and comfortable. They have an iron in the closet, which is very useful for those who arrive with wrinkled clothes.

Stayed here for a 3-day, 2-night trip over a holiday weekend and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. The bathtub drain in our room was clogged from the beginning of our stay. We reported the issue to the front desk on the first night and were told that maintenance would inspect it the following day. However, no one ever came. The next evening, we reported the issue again and were assured that someone would come to the room to check it. Once again, no one showed up. By the time we checked out, the problem had still not been addressed. We raised the issue for a third time at checkout, and while the parking fee was waived, management informed us that they would review the situation and asked us to follow up regarding reimbursement for the inconvenience. Since then, I have sent follow-up emails but have received no response. What disappointed me most was not the maintenance issue itself—problems can happen at any hotel—but the lack of follow-through, communication, and customer service despite multiple reports and promises to address the situation. Highly NOT recommended

We went here on vacation and they were ok - for the price we were happier with it, but there was a few issues I hope they change in the future. We highly disliked check in time was 3pm… wow so that is very uncomfortable no smoking policy but cigarettes were found in the elevator freshly smoked? And a party was allowed to stay all hours until 10pm at night with a karaoke machine so we didn’t get to enjoy the pool. One of the worst things that I could not believe happened was they were like we will also take a 100$ deposit after we already say paid? And they wanted 10 PER NIGHT parking and don’t tell you til check in. We will never stay here again

Great location with a stand-up staff! Clean rooms, all the amenities I need to feel at home. Highly recommend!!!
