The R3, short for Russian River Resort and known locally as the Triple R, is a long-running gay resort on 4th Street in the centre of Guerneville. Despite the 'friendly' tag on file, it has been one of the town's main LGBTQ+ hangouts for years, with motel-style rooms around a pool and a bar that draws day visitors as well as guests. Summer weekends and Lazy Bear Week are busy and loud around the pool, so book early and expect noise. Out of season it is much quieter. The rest of Guerneville's small gay strip is on foot.

Wonderful place to lay out by the pool during the day, have a drink during summer or spring. Great for tourist watching. Evenings are equally as enjoyable, with amazing karaoke a few times a week. Rooms are small, clean and sufficient. Great location. Obviously walking distance to anything in guerneville. Because main street guerneville is only a few blocks long.
