What reviewers say

Wielu odwiedzających uważa Rooftop Resort za wspaniałe miejsce do zabawy dla dorosłych ze świetnym personelem i wygodnymi pokojami, a niektórzy planują kolejne pobyty. Jednak częstą skargą jest to, że obiekt wydaje się zaniedbany i słabo utrzymany, a niektórzy goście doświadczają niegrzecznego personelu i nadmiernie głośnej muzyki.

Stayed there 3 weeks ago Thur-Sun. The room was out dated. Most rooms had no outside views, only into the courtyard, the ones that did were small windows. Long black hairs on the bathroom floor when we checked in. No bathroom exhaust fan. Had a small bathroom window that had to be propped open with something, they slid up and down. One hard desk chair, light weight lite piercing curtains, bathroom tp holder in 2 different rooms we were in were broken, tp stayed on side of the tubs. We switched rooms the second day, the queen bed mattress was so wiggly that I could feel ever movement of my wife all night, not that good kind of movement. Switched to a 2 bed room it was so bad. On the Saturday night party, that had almost no one there till 11pm, had a DJ that only wanted to play Latino music, nothing wrong with Latino music but he would not read the room of the mixed crowd. When I asked him to mix it up, and he seamed very annoyed that I did, he did for about a half an hour. After that it was all Latino music. The crowed was mostly looky loos in the play rooms, if you know what I mean. We've been in the lifestyle 2 decades and have played with many, not many there were playable. It was so bad we ended up walking down the block, at about midnight, to a beach bar for about 90 minutes. The music was so loud you could not talk to the person next to you. It stayed loud, pounding into your room, until 4am, then dropped from a 10 to a 9 on the dial until 6am, with flashing lights streaming into your room the whole night. BTW, there was only 6 people, seamed like locals, in the party area after 2am partying with the security guard who danced more than anyone all night. Could not get any sleep, with the earliest check out time, of 10am, of any hotel we've stayed in. The pool area was really nice with a great view of the area, and met some great people up there. Most people got naked. My advice is do the pool during a day visit on the weekends, party on Saturday night at their so called club, but don't stay there, and expect to be disappointed. When we checked out on Sunday, the desk person said never to expect to sleep on Saturday night, and I told him that would have been a nice heads up on the website. He was cool and let us keep our car in their lot till later in the afternoon. The staff from desk people, room service lady, pool bartenders, all super nice.

This place is okay. The rooms needs a serious upgrade. They don't have a fridge or microwave in the rooms.

I want to share something that happened this weekend because it could have turned into a really unsafe situation. My husband and I had planned a weekend getaway at Rooftop Resort. We’ve been once before, had a good experience, and felt comfortable going back again. We arrived around 10pm, checked in, got settled, and went to walk around and unwind. It was a pretty quiet night. Around 1am, we ended up in the pool, skinny sipping, just relaxing and minding our own business. The one and only staff member we had seen that night (later confirmed to be "security" by the front desk) came up and started chatting. He was clearly intoxicated, but initially seemed friendly enough. Out of nowhere, his demeanor completely changed. He became aggressive and started questioning whether we even had a room there, even though we had a previous intereaction that evening while standing outside of our room! He demanded our room number repeatedly. My husband was uncomfortable giving that information to someone who was visibly drunk and acting erratically; which I think any of us would be. When we didn’t immediately comply, he escalated; raising his voice, getting confrontational, and even threatening physical harm to my husband. At that point, I got out of the pool, grabbed our key, and showed him proof of our room just to de-escalate the situation. It turned into a full-blown argument, and honestly, it felt unsafe. Other guests came nearby but walked away when they saw what was happening. We eventually did give him our room number but he responded with "you are lying becuase that room number doesn't exist" despite the fact that I was holding the room key that confirmed it. We were shocked that we were finding ourselves in such an unbelievable situation! Eventually he backed off, but the damage was done. It completely ruined the night, and more importantly; it made us realize how vulnerable we were in that moment. The next morning, we went to the front desk to report it, and instead of addressing the behavior of their staff, the first response we got was accusing us of breaking rules that we absolutely were not breaking. That alone was enough for us to decide we would not be staying another night. There was no concern about their guests safety, no apology that their "security" was biligerent, intoxictaed and his judgement clearly impaired, just a reiteration of their resort rules and the implecation that we must have been doing something wrong. Looking back, what’s bothering me most isn’t just the experience; it’s how easily this could have gone so much worse. Being in a secluded environment, late at night, with a staff member who was intoxicated, aggressive, and demanding personal information like our room number… that’s not okay. That’s a serious safety concern! I’m sharing this because environments like these are supposed to feel safe, respectful, and controlled. We went there to relax and enjoy ourselves, and instead ended up in a situation where we had to think about OUR SAFETY! Just a reminder to always stay aware, no matter where you are, even in places that are supposed to be “safe spaces.” We definitely won’t be going back and encourage others to reconsider what they may be objecting themselves to when they book at the Rooftop Resort, very scary situation!
