Such a great spot in Laguna Beach! The Marine Room Tavern has the perfect mix of laid-back coastal vibes and elevated comfort. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the service is genuinely friendly, and the drinks are always on point. Whether you’re stopping in for a casual bite or settling in for a relaxed evening with friends, it just feels like one of those places you want to come back to. Bonus points for the location and people-watching—Laguna at its best. Highly recommend!

This place is iconic, if you haven't gone you are missing out, day or night great bartenders pool table comfortable seating, a big bar. Always a great time been going for many many years, our go to in Laguna great crowd, and wonderful fireplace

This bar in Laguna Beach has a fantastic vibe and great energy, making it a lively spot to hang out. However, it can get quite crowded, which might be a downside during peak times.

Preferably for 30-40 year old crowd

I don’t understand why you are allowing dogs into the bar at night. The atmosphere is not for dogs. If people are stupid enough to bring their dog to such a loud place then at least security should turn them down. This needs to be normalized. IT IS ABUSIVE! The only exception is if the dog has ear plugs. I will say it again. The noise is too loud for them. Any one who brings their dog into such a loud space, y'all are horrible. SECURITY do better!

Place fills up quickly on a Saturday night. We were lucky to find two barstools and watched people playing pool while we waited for band to start. Band was really good, 4 out of 5. Pool players were awful. 1 out of 5. Beer was only $7 a bottle which is not bad for a bar in a tourist town. Bartender was zero personality and added nothing to the experience. 1 out of 5 for him. He didn’t even know the name of the band.

What started as a fun night quickly turned into a disappointing experience. While on the dance floor, someone kept stepping on my foot, and when we politely asked him to stop, things got briefly tense but were resolved calmly between us. Despite that, a bouncer stepped in and immediately kicked us out without even hearing our side or speaking to the other person involved. The way the situation was handled felt completely one-sided and unfair. We left feeling disrespected and unwelcome. We won’t be returning — and we’ll be sharing this experience with our friends.

We had the after party of our wedding here and it was a blast! The staff was on top of everything, even giving us some complementary champagne. The 90s cover band exceeded expectations and there was enough room to lounge or dance to your heart's desire. Best bar in Laguna!
