Nice decor. Rooms are a little small, bathroom was nice. Front desk girl at check in was nice enough but not overly helpful. It’s downtown so expect some car noise. Starbucks on property was handy. Fitness room was nice.
Lovely hideaway from the weekly stress of work. I appreciate the hospitality.. the rooms are clean as always.
Great hotel in Montgomery, Alabama. Now one of our favorites. The restaurant here is the best we've ever eaten at. Period. The chef, Ms Africa (yes, her real name) is a wonderful person and fabulous at her trade. Presentation, quality and quantity were superb. Jackie, the manager, is also a wonderful person with a vibrant personality. She made us feel welcome and appreciated. Nicholas, our waiter was outstanding as well. He was attentive to our needs and never let our drinks go dry. The rooftop bar is a wonderful place to finish up the evening with a nightcap. Azoria was our waitress and bartender and was great. We are on our way to Florida for a week and will make this an annual event at this hotel.
The hotel is incredibly cute and is in a great area, but they allowed a scam caller to call my room 10! times from the hotel phone and confirmed to this person I was staying there from doing so. And then afterwards they accidentally gave my room key to new guests and allowed them into my room. I hope they can work on this because the hotel is cute but I could never go back because of the complete lack of consideration for my physical safety they repeatedly showed.
The hotel is beautiful and well finished on the inside and the staff is absolutely amazing and friendly. True southern hospitality. If you are sensitive to smells or sounds, this is not the hotel for you. The smell in the room is that off old pee in a wood box. I tried spraying downy spray but by the time I left my clothes smelled like it. The sound of the ac fan is extremely loud and you can hear footsteps all night. I gave it a 5 because something’s like this should be expected from old buildings and everything else was great.
