Josh was most welcoming after a very long travel day! Room was immaculate and well taken care of.

Talk about a hidden gem for travelers. Rooms have full kitchens, most of the items you'd need to cook a lot of different foods. A couch, desk lots of storage for extended stays. Free guest laundry facility. All of the staff are extremely friendly and welcoming without over doing it. If your room doesn't have something ask the front desk they may have it for you to borrow. Shopping,multiple places to eat and a large movie theater near by, all within walking distance.

The room we had was old. Maybe 80s or 90s. Nothing updated. The tub did not drain properly.

Decent amount of parking. The staff was nice. The complimentary items were great. Breakfast was standard. It was great and wasn't horrible. It was convenient. The room was alright. The bed was comfortable. There are a good amount of good locations around and a few more if you drive a alexia away. It you arw looking for cheap but clean with a pool, this is it. The gym was ... okay.

I honestly don't know who's to blame, the hotel or Booking.com, because I booked through Booking.com and when I arrived at the hotel they didn't have a room under my name, even though I had paid for it. I'm still waiting for a solution from somewhere. I just want my money back.

The staff is amazing! I stayed here for a business trip and had an awesome experience. I had 3 important business calls in the same day and had multiple technology issues. Shazia was so friendly, helpful and supportive. She helped my stress level come down significantly. Every staff member I passed smiled and said hello, even the ice machine repairman (I don't know if he even worked there :-) ). I'll be sure to stay here for my next trip to Scranton!

Update: I just wanted to add the lady at the front desk, Shazia, made our stay a little better. She is so friendly and should be a manager. After a long day of moving, we were exhausted and just wanted to relax. Unfortunately, our stay got off to a rough start: a guest was blocking the entrance with a growling pitbull, and then our key card repeatedly failed to open the door. Once we finally got inside, the pull-out sofa bed was a major disappointment. It was extremely uncomfortable—my son barely slept—and there was no fitted sheet provided for the thin mattress, which had a questionable stain. I had to strip sheets from the main bed to cover it and we're going to go buy a mattress topper just so he can sleep! (He is sharing this with his little brother). With the sofa pulled out, the room became cramped and difficult to navigate. This room simply isn't suitable for a family. The only positive was the thoughtful gift bags with chocolates and drinks upon arrival, but that small gesture couldn't make up for the overall discomfort. We are stuck here for a few nights with no other options due to New Year's Eve, but we can't wait to leave. Edit: sounds like the people above us have been aggressively rearranging furniture all day and they don't walk, they stomp with every step. No way this place is sound proof. We changed rooms, functions a little better for us but I find this hotel Very stingy. Not a big deal that there was never ice cream, but when your family is going through a crisis you look for any little thing to make your kids a little happier. Housekeeping asked if I needed anything, I said I think just garbage bagS..... I was given a single garbage can for the 3 garbage cans in the rooms 🤦🏻‍♀️ again, I can't wait to check out tomorrow. There are better hotels. I don't recommend this one.

Nice front desk staff, extremely helpful. Rooms do need an upgrade to match other TownePlace i have been to.

If you read this prior to booking a room and it makes you change to a different hotel you will never have to go through a truly terrible hotel stay that you actually paid to expirence.... This place should pay it's guest to stay there..

Gregg was great. Easy to talk with and very helpful. Very clean and the Hot tub was HOT
