O tym miejscu Club Cumming

Club Cumming is a queer bar on East 6th Street in the East Village, opened in 2017 and co-owned by actor Alan Cumming. It is a small, crowded room with a nightly lineup of drag, cabaret and burlesque, piano singalongs, readings and DJ sets. Celebrities and theatre people show up now and then, and the crowd is mixed across genders and ages. It gets packed later at night and on weekends, and some shows carry a cover charge. Check the online calendar to see what's on. Several other East Village and Lower East Side queer bars are within walking distance.

Isn’t anyone heartbroken that this isn’t Eastern Bloc anymore? It was an institution and a quiet refuge, sanctuary and retreat for queers. Now it’s commercial and Alan Cumming’s ego incarnate.
