$5 cash cover, $10 card cover. music was a 6.5/10 and fun drag show but i don’t like how they charge you to put your coat and bag away—and they can get super strict about it if you try to consolidate items.

This was one of the most uncomfortable bar experiences I’ve had. When I attempted to order a drink, the bartender told me I was required to purchase two drinks. This policy was not posted anywhere or communicated beforehand. When I questioned it because I genuinely couldn’t hear him clearly over the noise, he became aggressive and started cursing at me. The interaction escalated to the point where I felt pressured to hand over my card just to leave the situation. Being spoken to that way by staff was completely unacceptable. If this is actually a policy, it should be clearly posted so customers know before ordering. More importantly, no customer should be cursed at or pressured into making a purchase. I hope management looks into this because that kind of behavior reflects very poorly on the establishment.

I’m visiting from Boston and came here trying to explore the gay bars, my experience here was not positive. While some of the staff was very nice, I had a bad experience with particularly the dj and other staff members who were rude despite me and my friends being the ONLY people there. We bought drinks, danced, when there was literally not a single other person. I was with two gay woman and they were made to feel singled out because they weren’t gay men, on my way out the dj said “goodnight to the two beautiful women…and the twink” it wasn’t said with a nice tone and frankly I felt disrespected by this, especially considering him previously being rude already on top of this. While I fit that definition, the tone was derogatory to me especially juxtaposed to complimenting my friends and purposefully singling me out in a derogatory way.I felt discouraged as a younger gay man to be exploring gay nightlife and encountering staff actively trying to put me down and making fun of me in a place where I should feel the most comfortable. We should be uplifting one another and creating environments that are safe, and just fun! This was the opposite of that for me. Some of the staff were so pleasant and if you are reading this I do appreciate you, it was mostly this one individual (the dj). However because of that, I would never come back here again to be honest. We bought drinks, were the only guests, and were nothing but kind and respectful. Me and my two other girl friends, who are gay, should never feel judged and disrespected in a GAY BAR. We left upset, and extremely disappointed. I hope you reconsider certain staff members that make a gay bar feel a judgmental space, when it is the LAST place I should be judged. We’re all gay, why are judging one another and creating separation in our own community. I came to support my community and for a drag show. Instead I was met with people in my own community creating division and being rude when we’re all supposed to be on the same team. Do better.

I’ve had a few fine experiences here, but the past few times I’ve gone, it’s just not been the vibe! The DJs are playing all current music, most of which is mid tempo and not fun to dance to. They pack people in like sardines on the weekend. I understand you want to make money, but not having any room to move/breathe isn’t really a fun experience. They should at least moderate the amount of people in at a time, especially if you’re charging a cover fee. And to top it off, most of the clientele the past few times have just been straight people, which is really off putting for a queer person trying to go to a queer bar hoping to be amongst their kind. Yes, you can’t help being in a highly populated tourist area, but at the same time, the setup/music is kind of appealing to them…

Bar is so overly packed on weekends because they want to make money - which in return makes the experience as a patron terrible being shoved by nothing but STRAIGHT people. Great if you’re an ally but remember you’re in a gay/queer space and being rude is unacceptable. Terrible time the both times I’ve been. Highly DO NOT recommend

The drag shows are very bad. Used to be a nice place, now it is very annoying.

The drag queens are great but the bar over indexes on them. Rather than playing music and peppering in fun drag performances, they force the drag queens to engage in a one hour SNL performance. Which is a lot to ask for anyone. Brings the mood down in a big way.

Way too expensive drinks, bartender was so rude and felt entitled to a tip, the bouncer made no sense as he does not understand NY state laws for open container, and to top it off the bathrooms look like they’ve never been cleaned reeking of piss, As a native New Yorker would not recommend, go to another club ur better off literally anywhere else.

Charges cover + 2 drink minimum. Only worth it if there's a Queen performing, not worth it most nights as the bar can be pretty dead.

This place is very sketchy and dangerous! Me, my husband and some coworkers went there last Saturday. My coworker lost her coat, another coworker was asked to pay entry fee again after just stepping outside and coming right back in, my husband got drugged I’m pretty sure and came to find out that he got overcharged insanely. Been trying for to call the place all day but the number they have on Google takes me to voicemail. I am blown away that this happened in West Village !!!! EDIT: Thats the owners reply. I guess that’s all I need to know. Also, my husband blacked out after 3 beers there and had no idea what happened most of the night. And if you scroll down a bit, there are similar reviews about people being drugged at your place and how you refused to show your camera recordings to the police. So you should literally be investigated
