Holiday Inn Express & Suites Orem-North Provo by IHG

We stayed here for a soccer tournament, the fields were about 10min away and the location was perfect. Close to town, mountains and lakes. Hiking trails and outdoor activities are all about 20min away. It was cheaper than staying in Salt Lake City and there was a lot more to do and explore than the city. Rooms were clean, breakfast was good. The only downside was the breakfast buffet area is VERY small and barely any room for guest to grab breakfast in the mornings. The staff (blonde girl) kept it clean and restocked with eggs, bread and everything else. Breakfast was good, but the small room where the food is located was a tight fit.

Great variety of breakfast foods... We didn't use the pool during the visit. Third floor hallway carpets seemed pulled/ bumpy almost enough to trip someone.

Location of hotel was great and a fantastic room! Looked great that’s why I gave those 5 stars. But If I could give customer service zero stars I would but that’s the reason behind a two star overall review because customer service is everything Staff member Sarah Lyn checked us in and continue to help us throughout the night she was extremely rude, especially toward the end of her shift. We got there at about 6 PM on Friday night on July 10. We checked in and Sarah Lynn was not very friendly later that night. We called the front desk to see if we could get a PlayStation five hooked up to the Wi-Fi. I needed the technical support for the Internet provider so I could send them the Mac address for the Wi-Fi so they could whitelist my PlayStation five for the nights that I was here. Her shift was coming to an end and when I called her, she was very rude. Did not give me very clear information and sent me to a dead phone number if you will and told me the wrong Internet providers name so I proceeded to call back again. A different woman picked up the phone because Sarah Lynn was leaving, the other woman put me on hold and called Sarah Lynn back before she left the building and then picked the phone back up to take me off hold. I then heard Sarah Lynn in the background cussing and saying I already told him and he needs to figure it out. The other woman on the phone apologize for her actions because it was very unprofessional and the other woman is fairly new she was gonna try to help to the best of her abilities and was able to provide me the correct phone number and Internet provider so I was able to connect my console to it despite her abilities of not knowing because of how knew she was. Sarah Lynn did not answer any of my questions with a good intent. She did not care and wanted nothing to do with me. I’ve stayed at quite a few holiday ends and have never gotten treated this way. Unacceptable Customer service from her.

Good place and great location to UVU and BYU. Service is always great too!

Nice and clean room. Comfortable bed and pillows. Nice shower and clean bath towels. Decent breakfast. Nice staff. Filter water and ice machine. Plenty of parking Many restaurants around. Close to freeway but not noisy. The only thing I don't like is pet area. Little too small and my boy doesn't like it. So no business for him there.
