CoastPride

CoastPride is the LGBTQ+ community organization serving California's Coastside, spanning Pacifica in the north down through Half Moon Bay to Pescadero. Founded in 2019, the group opened a dedicated community center in Half Moon Bay in June 2023, giving queer coastside residents and visitors a local hub for support groups, youth programming, and social gatherings.

CoastPride organizes Pacifica Pride, the city's annual celebration held each June. The event has grown into a Coastside tradition, featuring a festive car parade along Palmetto Avenue and Beach Boulevard, live music, food trucks, and a family-friendly zone. For LGBTQ+ travelers basing themselves in Pacifica, CoastPride is the best local point of contact for events and community connection.
