Its a decent hotel overall. Okay location and proximity to local food places and attractions. Fairly inexpensive, at least compared to other options in the area. There are a few things they could improve upon however: The showers get water all over the bathroom floor. It has a short pane of glass that blocks only half the enclosure. Went through many towels daily keeping the bathroom from flooding. Guests in other rooms I talked to over the stay experienced similar. The pool temperature varies wildly. At some hours its nearly a hot tub, which I found pleasant. A couple of the nights it was freezing, and no guests, myself included could use it. The housekeeping has an oddly aggressive check-in policy. I was told they must check in at the room daily even if the do not disturb sign is up. One morning they knocked on four separate occasions, which made sleeping in difficult. They have very few luggage carts available. Quite possibly only one. I was never able to secure one, which made checking in/out difficult. The parking garage is wholly insufficient for the number of rooms they offer, and the lot they partner with has different operating hours for their passes. The hours don't sync up with the hotel's check in/out times. The room was mostly clean, but there were odd sticky spots on some of the furniture. The floor also had stains in areas that rubbed off on my socks. The drawers in the chest of drawers also wouldn't stay shut and blocked the floor next to the bed.
I did mobile check-in, but still had to go to the front desk for a physical key and parking pass. The staff who assisted me just stared at me with a “Gen Z stare” until I said I needed check-in support, and then questioned my reservation as if there might not be a room assigned. I only needed a key and parking pass, but she seemed annoyed and acted like she did not want to help at all. I also almost had to beg to get the Gold member snack and water. There was also a barking dog early in the morning that went on for hours, and nothing changed even after we called the front desk.
4.5 out of 5 stars at the time of writing. Imagine being the person who has a bad time at that venue. I do not think so. You will love the venue because the GM is active, healthy and clearly has been in control of this location's success for a long time. For our company event, we found popsicles left in ice buckets. We found homemade sheets to make art with. The food at breakfast is NOT only good, but some of the best continental and cleanest. My eggs one day were mostly unseasoned and the next they were seasoned and rendered in fat, exploding in flavor. The service is insanely healthy and you are seldom not to receive a smile should you eye or smile toward the front desk. I really recommend the hotel and cannot more. Please let Thomas and Alexis know Leona told you to stay with them. I felt treated by family. My first room did have a failing a/c, fridge and loose toilet seat and bad phone. I called and they had us move rooms and everything worked. That was unfortunate and I would easily be disappointed and see a client putting a poor review for it, so I hope such scenarios are rare by definition and expect so.
I like their services
This was clean and nice, super friendly staff and the location is walking distance to many good restaurants and entertainment options
