Star Theatre

Very cool music venue. Good sound too!

Star Theatre moved their event earlier in the evening so us dancers could see another big name in town. I think that was an incredibly classy move of star theatre, and shows what true love for community means. also shout out sound guy for making crispy sounds in the box boxes. It truly sounded great. and staff are very nice.

Classic Portland theater. Lovely mid-sized live music venue. They host Hive, a local goth night. The staff are all super friendly long-time scene folks. 21+

Turn on the AC...

One of their staff members put their hands on me preventing me from leaving the venue for committing the most heinous of crimes - stepping on one of their benches to boost myself onto the exit ramp. In my defense, it was a sold out show and I couldn’t for the life of me squeeze through an inch so found the only opening. Pretty wild and wholly unnecessary for anyone to put their hands on a stranger because a house rule was broken.

It's a great venue to see live music.

I have been here multiple times for Hive and it's always an amazing experience. The lighting, the atmosphere, the sound system, and the patrons are all amazing.
