The food was okay but very salty. I was also disappointed that my takeout order didn’t include any sauce or utensils.The most upsetting part was the service. When I arrived, I didn’t feel welcomed. The waitress told me the wait would be 10–15 minutes, but after 30 minutes I asked for an update. She sounded annoyed and said she would check, but never came back.After about 40 minutes, I finally received my food. Overall, it was a frustrating and unpleasant experience.

amazing!! i never do reviews but i genuinely felt like i had to leave one . first off we came in around 2:20 not knowing they closed at 3 and the guy that was serving us was so patient and kind with us. was excited to show us their menu and explained everything without us even asking. while we waited they told us we can still eat in the restaurant even when they were literally closed. that made me feel so welcome and he was standing outside welcoming us too. the food was amazing i mean the best chicken wings i’ve ever had. and the mac n cheese was literally the best i’ve had too. everything is so good and he even gave my sister a sweet tea for free because she liked the tea better than her soda. i definitely recommend coming here . way better than i expected. thank you guys💕 when i visit again this will be my first stop!!

Love small hole-in-the-wall places like this. Reasonably priced, food was really good and well portioned. 10/10 would recommend and go back myself.

Dawg—Me and my friends were tryna find something to eat. Next thing we know, we find our new favorite spot to gatekeep. This place is so good—everything tasted AMAZING!! The place itself was very vibey.

The chicken was perfect and it was a large serving everything tasted immaculate, I know i will be back! Fantastic.

It's a 4.5 out of 5 for me food was fresh and hot. I got the 6pc Hot honey with Mac & Cheese sweet tea and my wife got the whiting plater with cajun fries with lemonade, everything was hot and fresh with no wait but I will say the 0.5 was lost for me was the ranch it wasn't the best but overall the food was great and when I come back to Richmond again I will come back

maybe they had just opened im not sure it was in the early evening time but there wasnt a bartender. just one young server that may have also low key been the cook. music was on point so enjoyed whoever was on the aux. the food was great at a great price. those green beans were some of the best ive had in my life. fish prepared just right. mac and yams were ite better than average. definitely recommend this place if you havent tried them yet

I don’t appreciate rudeness. I walk in at 3:45 on Independence Day and was immediately told “we’re closed and we aren’t taking anymore orders today”. That’s fine but your posted hours say you’re open until 4 so you are not closed and if you were closed, you should have flipped the sign around at the front door which clearly stated you were open. Never tried the food and now I never will. I had no issue with your establishment deciding to close early, it was the delivery of that information from one of your servers. Tone and body language are real things and they matter. You exist because of customers and the experience you provide to them. Never forget that…

Stumbled upon this gem exploring the area. Great customer service. Great hospitality, we talked like we knew each other for years. The food is great 😌. Seasoned with love and perfection.
