Queer Salsa Social Golden Summer at Kavita

Join us for our Golden Summer themed social and learn some new moves with Michelle! There will be food to share and refreshments provided.

Queer Salsa Social (QSS) is a social dance event hosted by Queer Latin Dance SD (QLDSD) based in San Diego, California. The event takes place in a dance studio and includes a workshop taught by Michelle Fernandez @mich1881 https://www.instagram.com/mich1881/ . Event includes a DJ, food, and drinks to share, and an open level Salsa or Bachata workshop.

Come mingle, connect, and dance with us. We’ll kick things off with a Salsa or Bachata workshop, led by Michelle, followed by social dancing.

This is a queer-friendly event organized by Queer Latin Dance SD. First-time attendees must read our Code of Conduct. 🙏

What to Wear
Come as you are and wear whatever makes you feel comfortable! For comfort Latin dance shoes or tennis shoes with worn out sole are recommended.

What to Bring
Food and refreshments will be provided. You’re also welcome (but not required) to bring food or snacks to share. Healthy options are appreciated.

Doors open: 6:30pm
Workshop: 7:30pm
Social dancing: 8:30pm

QLDSD Students: $15
General: $25 | Early Bird: $20
Social Only: $15

Ticket Includes snacks and refreshments, a workshop with Michelle, DJ music, and social dancing.

All levels are welcome! If you can’t make it to the workshop, come hang out and enjoy the food, music, and good vibes.
