They must not pay their workers enough. Workers have to leave out a tip jar at a buffet…that’s nothing short of begging. Marriott pay your workers a reasonable wage!

Multiple stays over several months and now disappointed and not going to come back. Been coming here on and off for decades. Rooms are decent, AC works but you won’t hear anything over it, although starting to be dated again. Housekeeping service is very inconsistent. M lounge with swamp coolers for months. A parking deck whose gates do not work with card keys or even the paper barcode they give you when you ask if they’ve been fixed. Maybe it’s time to start this tired place over or invest what you charge rather than harvest. Only highlight is great front desk and lounge staff. And the Buffalo wings are perfect and have always been. But at the rates you’re charging this should not be a deferred maintenance site.

I stayed there for four days. The mattress sagged, and I slept very poorly. The food in the VIP room was exactly the same every day for four days. The only salad greens were also extremely stale. Parking cost 40 yuan per night. All the services were disproportionate to the price. I highly do not recommend it.

I travel frequently for business and stay at Marriott properties regularly, and unfortunately this has been by far one of my worst experiences from a customer service standpoint. There was very little attention to detail, including a lack of consideration for notes included with my booking. The overall level of service was disappointing from the front desk to the bar, and the experience never felt up to the standard I would expect from a Marriott property. Given how often I travel, I am generally pretty understanding when small issues come up, but the lack of consistency and customer care at this location stood out in a negative way. I would absolutely not recommend this hotel and will not stay at the Santa Clara Marriott again.

This is a large hotel with a fantastic swimming pool and gym. However, breakfast can become monotonous after multiple nights, as the menu consists of the same dishes each day. The staff is generally friendly, but I would like to specifically commend Roselyn at front desk for her patience and professionalism. She prioritizes customer needs and goes above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay.

Rooms were nice and parking was easy, even though a little pricey. Room was always kept clean. Great bar and food. Nice atmosphere.

They did an alarm test this morning at 3:30 am and we all had to evacuate. Zero hotel staff were available to answer any questions while we stood outside or to give us directions when we could go inside, and no emergency services ever showed up.
