The Lookout Bar and Grill

Popular place. Good food. Friendly staff. Busy! Sit on the patio, it's beautiful.

I was already a fan of The Lookout, but I had the best time hosting my 30th birthday there this past weekend! A little over a month prior, I worked with them to reserve the outdoor fire pit area for around 35 people. I had reached out to several places, but found The Lookout to be the most cost-effective, flexible, and fun option for Spring! What also sold it was that Ari, the event coordinator, was so helpful, accommodating, and responsive. Her enthusiasm and ideas for the party made me even more excited leading up to it. She made sure we had plenty of propane for the fire pits and worked out how to serve bottomless mimosas to our large group during brunch. And those mimosas were truly flowing, the service was incredibly attentive during the event. We were happy to be able to bring in decorations and a cake and play our own music. People also mentioned that it felt like a rooftop party because of the beautiful view. The whole staff made me feel so special and ensured that everything went smoothly behind the scenes. I loved not having to think much. Highly, highly recommend The Lookout to anyone looking to host an event. It was an unforgettable time!

Not sure what happened the their old staff but whoever is working now had my table waiting for almost an hour to the point I had to go tp the bar to put our order in. After that the bartender said our server would be over to check the rest of my tables IDs. The server never showed up, I had to walk up again to bring the other IDs. The server looked at it and the bartender then they still came to the table to check IDs without our drinks that I had ordered AND PAID FOR! Then the bartender had to actually bring our drinks because the server did not want to serve us after she watched us walk in.

What a view! Excellent customer service. Great happy hour deals.

What is not to like about this neighborhood bar and grill. When the weather is appropriate has outdoor seating with great views of Lake Union. Staff is always great, they never seem to have a bad day. Kudos to them.

The Look Out Burger was Delicious!!

Great view, service is hit or miss. Food is consistently mediocre. Greens were wilty, steak was crusted with salt.
