Hyatt Place Virginia Beach Town Center

HORRIBLE Do not stay here if you need to sleep. The traffic is LOUD. Horrible experience. VERY NOISY location and they know it. If you request a room, make sure it is on the quiet side of the building. I asked to be moved and was not accompanied. I was offered ear plugs and a noise machine. It was so bad I cancelled the remainder of my stay.

Had a very bad experience. Called in morning and confirmed that a twin queen bed room will be given. They won’t let me check in early and so I took their suggestion and went to beach for Kate check in. Victoria called and left voice mail that my room has been lost due to some maintenance issue. I called back and he so not at all helpful. It seems he did not like my accent and would not accommodate anything. When I told him that this will ruin my kids night as they would not sleep on sofa bed, he said that’s not his problem. Victor should at least be given some training to deal weigh customers I wish I would have booked cheaper options and not gone with this higher star option. Rest all is a bad experiences poor arrive and poor everything. I wish I could give zero star. Never again Hyatt anywhere.

Great place to stay with the fam. Around 20 min away from the ocean front. What makes the stay super special is Cindy, she made sure we had a great breakfast during our stay. Hope others staff can be more warm and accommodating too.

The beds were my favorite part, it was like sleeping on a cloud! Extremely comfortable and that’s rare at hotels, they are usually too hard. The shower was amazing! Lighting in the bathroom is bad for doing makeup and/or the room where the full body mirror is. Breakfast was very good, one of the best I’ve had. I loved the French toast day. If you are going to drink at the bar it’s very expensive. Pool is way too small! I was looking forward to a swim, but it fits about 3 people and a kid. Overall, nice experience

I do not even know where to start or how to even keep this concise at all! My husband and I showed up at the Hyatt around 10 or 11am on Friday morning after a very long day of travel and the most horrifying one night experience with a hotel at the oceanfront. I won't get into those details here, but we shared our experience with Noraine at the front desk, and merely asked if she had vacancy for the rest of our intended stay. I expected to have to return hours later for a check in time, but Noraine had so much compassion and empathy for our situation that she allowed us to check-in then and there!! We were able to go up to a room and shower off our terrible experience, and start our vacation completely over ❣️ We had meals, drinks, and coffee all from the bar downstairs over our four day stay and quickly learned that the Hyatt staff are all so talented in so many ways! They are front desk attendants, servers, bartenders, BARISTAS (GO IZZY 😍) and even chefs! Every meal and drink was not only delicious but was accompanied by the friendliest, most personable team of hosts that I have ever encountered. Everyone we came in contact with treated us with the utmost hospitality, but I wanted to make sure to give special shout outs to Noraine, Izzy, Dyamond, Tasha and Victor. My husband and I meant every word we said, we are eternally grateful for how you took care of us- and we will 100% be coming back to this very hotel for any and all future Virginia Beach trips! SO MUCH LOVE!!!!

Very clean and the rooms are comfy. You can walk across the street to Fresh Market for groceries.

Room was not ready until 3:30 and there's no microwave.
