Hotel Village

I loved the room with its balcony, a blend of modern and old. The lack of an elevator didn't bother me at all. The hotel's history is simply magnificent, and the service was incredibly attentive and polite. The staff definitely wants guests to feel as comfortable as possible. The ambiance and furnishings are in excellent condition. Breakfast, offered until 11 am, is fantastic. Tip: Fruit and croissants would be a nice addition. I will definitely stay with them again. And a suggestion: make the shower a bit bigger for getting dressed and undressed after showering (June 9th to 10th).

Despite the "Do Not Disturb" sign, staff came into the room during the day and made the bed. When I inquired at reception, the gentleman said it was the cleaning staff member's first day. Warning: 5 floors and NO elevator. Very narrow stairwell. Water from the shower came out everywhere except the showerhead… The location is good, but you should be aware that it's in a slum area.

A hotel with a unique charm. The honeymoon rooms have a very special atmosphere. There is lots of velvet and mirrors above the bed. Lust and desire with a touch of humor. The area is full of life and contains all types of people from all walks of life. We have used the hotel several times and have always felt very welcome. The staff are friendly and accommodating. A place with character and personality that differs significantly from the large hotel chains, which do not give as much of themselves as this place does.

I find the service incredibly friendly, and the hotel's vibe is so lovely, reminding me of the 70s, but the rooms are quite run-down. They definitely have flaws that could be addressed. On the plus side, the hotel is centrally located and just a 5-minute walk from the main train station.

Very old hotel. Not particularly clean. Mold in the shower. Very noisy, clearly audible at night, even through closed windows. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Unfortunately, the room was very run-down. The curtains were hanging crooked, the electrical outlet was sticking out of the wall, the lights only worked halfway, and the TV didn't work at all. The clientele in the hotel's vicinity is questionable (alcoholics, drug addicts, etc.), but we were aware of that. Breakfast was okay, and the staff were friendly.

Unfortunately, the rooms are outdated for the price. The TV didn't work, and the noise from the street, with its junkies, dealers, and homeless people, was quite unpleasant. The service staff member was very friendly. The breakfast selection was very limited; it could be better. The grout in the bathroom was moldy, and the ventilation wasn't working.

This hotel is something you have to experience. We've stayed here many times. It's a very special kind of hotel. Breakfast is small but excellent. Birgit, the receptionist, is friendly and helpful. The location is right next to the main train station. However, outside the hotel, it's very much a big city.

A small, charming, family-run hotel with a special character. Exceptionally friendly staff who immediately attend to your needs, ensuring you want for nothing.

All in all, it was okay :) The location is close to the train station, but unfortunately not very pleasant. It was very noisy at night, and as a woman traveling alone, I didn't feel completely safe. However, the service was great and friendly, and the rooms were fine. They were a bit dated in places. Aside from the location, it was worth an overnight stay ;)
