Last verified: November 2026. The honest summary: Seville has a dozen or so gay and gay-friendly bars, and nearly all of them are on or just off the Alameda de Hércules. Only two are late-night gay venues in the full sense, Itaca and Pride B4R. The rest are café-bars and mixed places where the night starts. It's a good scene for a weekend and thin midweek. We list which is which below, because several guides call every bar on the Alameda "gay".
Legal in one line: same-sex marriage since 2005, and Andalusian law (Ley 8/2017) bans discrimination by bars and clubs.
The late-night gay venues
Itaca, Calle Amor de Dios 31
GayTravel4U describes a gay club and bar with a dance floor, dark room and VIP space. Google reviewers single out busy Saturdays that run until morning and praise the drag, though the overall rating is a low 3.3 from about 340, with door policy and music the main complaints. Hours are the problem: Nighttours says nightly from 23:00, other listings say Friday and Saturday from midnight to 06:00. Go at the weekend, or check @itacadisco first. The Sissypop pop party is hosted here on selected Fridays, and sources disagree on how often.

Pride B4R, Calle Trajano 38 (door on Calle Delgado 1)
The old Men to Men, now a bar and small disco. Its Instagram says open 365 days with shows from Thursday to Saturday, and it posts a steady run of drag acts. Patroc lists 22:00 to 03:00 from Sunday to Thursday, 04:30 on Friday and 05:00 on Saturday. Some Google reviewers have found it shut midweek. Older guides mention a dark room; we couldn't confirm it's still in use.
Gay café-bars for the early evening

El Bosque Animado, Calle Arias Montano 5
GayTravel4U calls it a long-running gay bar. It's a talking bar, not a dance spot. Google reviews are mixed (3.6 from about 250), and a repeated complaint is high prices for tourists, so ask before you order.
Flamingo Bar, Calle Arias Montano 7
A gay café-bar next door, open from mid-afternoon until 02:00 per listings.

Dilema, Alameda de Hércules 80
GayTravel4U calls it a gay bar with outdoor seating and Schlouk Map tags it LGBTQI+, while others describe it as queer-leaning rather than exclusively gay. The terrace is the draw. It's open daily from 13:00 until 02:00, or 03:00 on Fridays and Saturdays, and rates 4.3 from over 500 Google reviews.
Gay-friendly and mixed
- El Barón Rampante, Calle Arias Montano 3: a café-bar with outdoor tables. GayTravel4U says LGBT-friendly, not strictly gay.
- 1987 Bar, Alameda 93: an 80s-themed discopub from 22:00 until 03:30 or 04:30. salir.com says it isn't strictly gay.
- Alameda Ritual Club, on the Alameda: a cocktail bar in an old mansion. Listings conflict on the number (68 or 42) and the hours.
- Holiday by Óbbio, Jesús del Gran Poder 73: a mainstream club-bar with a strict door, club nights on Fridays, Saturdays and holiday eves from 23:00.
- Mentiroso, Calle Compañía 1: a small café-bar near the Setas, open from about 16:30.
- Men to Men: now Pride B4R.
- Bohemia Bar (Amor de Dios): a long-time bear bar, flagged closed on misterb&b and missing from GayTravel4U's October 2026 list, while TableJourney still lists it. We couldn't confirm it, so we don't list it. If you're on the street, look in.
- Jewel (Amor de Dios 18): named by salir.com in January 2025 but not on current lists, so we couldn't confirm it.
- LUX: "temporarily closed" on Travel Gay. Gold Sevilla: status unconfirmed.
- Dreamer, Living, Café Central, Fun Club, Sala Boss, La Revuelta and La Farmacia Dulce: sometimes attached to gay Seville because they're near the Alameda. We found no evidence that they're LGBTQ+ venues.
- Hours here are unreliable, so check Instagram on the day, especially from Sunday to Wednesday.
- Smoking is banned indoors, and the terraces are where people talk.
- In summer, terraces are only comfortable after 22:00.
- We found no dedicated lesbian bar. Dilema and the queer-leaning terraces are the usual suggestion.
- For where to stay near the bars, see our hotels guide.

How the night works
Start on the Arias Montano or Alameda terraces after dinner, around 22:00. Move to 1987 or Pride B4R after midnight, and finish at Itaca at the weekend. Everything on this route is within a 15-minute walk. Thursday to Saturday is when drag is most likely. From Sunday to Wednesday, expect quiet rooms and check before you walk over. Cruise bars are covered separately: see El Bunker and The Boyz in our cruising guide.
