Food was amazing

Give this place a miss, I know I won't be back. Service has always been lacking, but today the food wasn't edible. My husband's steak was so chewy he couldn't get through even half of it, I had a piece and it must have been the worst steak I'd tried. My green chicken curry had zero taste and the rice was stodgy it was like one of those cheap frozen meals from the supermarket. In addition they had this weird parking app you had to download to park there, although found out in the pub they'd validate, it was very unclear on the posters in the car park what this meant.

Norwood always awesome. Love Reno's haven't been here in yrs given where we live now. But we'll definitely be back with friends next time... soon hopefully, given our ages now. Thank you 10 out of 10 for good wine beer choices and scrumptious food. Staff awesome too.A delight Thank you And awesome with free 3hr car parking at back of hotel😊❤️

We had my husband’s 40th and right from the beginning of organising Dani made it so easy and stress free! The food was on point and service was great……. We’re pretty happy!!

Despite my review, staff are friendly & I suspect they are under sufferance & hopelessly underpaid. Overheard one always up for a night I think just to escape the place & he was in his 20s (can't blame him). After reading the reviews here & elsewhere, why hasn't the toxic work place environment & management changed? They are all quite young (except for two I think) & they are burned out but hanging in there. I would personally quit & find a better bar to work for. I can't blame the staff for once was a cool great bar back in the day. Was great for a while but they don't give clear warnings or indications about the front comfortable room being used for private functions as some tables have BOOKED 530 etc & yet it took an hour for them an over to show up. I noticed that annoyed other customers walking. I would highly recommend blocking that room off all together from the general public as it just annoys & frustrates regulars. I thought a couple of times I was safe as the tables I sat on couple of times over the weeks had NO reserved times etc. Great place when Beats on Parade are there but really dead to honest outside those nights. Even then, the TV media screen fails at times (being a sound & audio guy that bugs me!). Meals are expensive as are beers. Might start my evenings at German Arms in Harndorf as they offer $5 beers now! Tower is better & very chilled out. Colonist at Norwood always fantastic & chilled out vibe with specific dining area for bookings which is the way to do it. Too many bloody pokies which apparently are open during heatwaves when they shut the rest of the bar. Utterly unethical!!

Went here for Mothers Day dinner and paid $200 for very burnt pizzas x 2 (especially on yhe underside) and inedible kids meal burgers. The kids refused to eat them after two bites so we took all the leftovers home and tried them but unfortunately the texture of the mince was off. The chicken burger was average but thankfully not burnt and the garlic bread and nuggets and chips which we ordered to replace the inedible burgers both extremely salty. Nothing was said by the staff even though it was obvious most of the food wasnt eaten and we ordered a new meal for the kids halfway through. We didnt want to ruin the night so also said nothing but walked away feeling cheated. Definitely not going to be recommending as our kids never not eat a burger so thats saying a lot. The affogato was amazing but that was the only highlight.

We had dinner there on the Gather round weekend and we couldn’t fault the dinner at all. Served quickly and the girls looking after us were incredible. Great job Bath Hotel
