HACO – Fukuoka Community Center

HACO is Fukuoka's LGBTQ+ community centre and open space, run by the group LOVE ACT FUKUOKA. Located in Sumiyoshi, Hakata Ward — about a 15-minute walk from Hakata Station and at the heart of the city's gay quarter — it offers a drop-in space, health and HIV/STI prevention resources, and community events with a focus on gay and bisexual men. Opening hours are generally Thursday to Saturday evenings (check loveactf.jp before visiting). HACO also publishes a local gay-town map of the Sumiyoshi bar cluster.
