Sauna Neptune is Nantes' main gay sauna, positioned conveniently near the Bouffay quarter's bar cluster. The facility spans two floors and includes a steam room, Finnish dry sauna, jacuzzi, private cabins with locks, a darkroom and a bar serving cold drinks. The sauna is well-maintained and run by friendly, professional staff. The regular clientele is predominantly local — Nantes residents who know each other — which creates a relaxed, community atmosphere somewhat different from the anonymity of larger-city saunas. Weekend evenings are the busiest sessions; midday on weekdays is quiet. Men only; entry includes towel and locker.
