Odd layout 2 outbuildings of accomodation in car park which you need your room card to go into main building so you can exit despite card park having 4m security fencing and not open to public etc! I was in annex c that was ok but a bit tired. No convenient power neer most of the beds in the room though. Just spent the night and it was fine, right next to the s line station eg maybe 1 minute from stepping off train to entering hostel. I can recommend the arghani restaurant about 25 mins walk turning right before the middle, 1 building back down the side street for a tasty food offering When I arrived very busy (around 2100) but only 2 person working and they were supposed to run the bar as well. It was chaos and bad people unhappy as priority given to check-in. It took me 20mins+ to get checked in It was good value but not the greatest place but as a quick place to stay it was fine.

1 Star – Never again! After a long journey, we arrived at the A&O Hostel Frankfurt in the evening and had nothing but problems from the start. Instead of finally getting some peace and quiet, we had to argue at reception until about 1 a.m. and sort out several issues. The first room was simply unacceptable. It smelled extremely unpleasant, so strong that it gave me a headache. We couldn't open the window because the stench was obviously coming from outside, directly in front of it, and permeated the entire room. Things got even worse when strangers suddenly entered our room. This made us feel very unsafe. When we tried to report the problem at reception, we had to wait a very long time because numerous other guests were also complaining. Some guests were so dissatisfied that they demanded their money back and moved to other hotels in the middle of the night. Communication at reception was also difficult because we could only communicate to a limited extent, as the man at reception didn't understand or speak German. Finally, we were moved to another room. To get there, we had to walk through several other rooms, which didn't exactly improve our sense of security and privacy. The new room was anything but clean. There was hair lying around in the bathroom, stains on the floor, and overall the room looked neglected. On top of that, the noise level was high, making a restful sleep virtually impossible. Overall, this was one of the worst accommodation experiences we've ever had. Poor organization, lack of cleanliness, unpleasant smells, security issues, and an overwhelmed reception – definitely not a place we would recommend.

Dirty rooms, dangerous area, high risk of theft, keycard constantly demagnetized. The food wasn't the best and was almost overcooked, but that's just personal preference. The rooms are questionable, with questionable stains of all colors on every surface (walls, bathrooms, sheets, pillows, etc.) in my room. The shower was also broken and dirty. As for the location, it's convenient for taking the subway, but not at all safe. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone!

Very centrally located, but unfortunately very noisy in the room. Room service was booked but never came; I had to buy toilet paper myself. The windows can be fully opened, even on the 4th floor – dangerous! The bathroom was unfortunately not clean.

The room was so dirty

The room was very clean and comfortable. Staff were very courteous, pleasant, and responsive to our needs and requests. I stayed here with a choir, and management provided us with a conference room where we could rehearse. The train station was close by, just a short walk. Breakfast buffet was quite nice also. All the food was halal, so very convenient for those of us who don't eat pork or require certain dietary accommodations. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a practical yet comfortable stay.

Mujahid is the best, appreciate the front desk service.
