1985 yılında ilk kez düzenlenen Schwule Filmwoche Freiburg, Almanya'nın en eski gay film festivalidir. Her bahar (Nisan sonu/Mayıs) Freiburg'un sanat sinemalarında, prömiyerler, konuk konuşmaları ve topluluk etkinlikleriyle bir hafta boyunca uluslararası queer sinema sunar. Gönüllü bir kolektif tarafından organize edilen festival, yerel LGBTQ+ sahnesinin kültürel etkinliklerinden biri olarak öne çıkmaktadır.
